Citizenship ceremonies
All persons obtaining British Citizenship are required to attend a ceremony to swear an Oath of Allegiance in the presence of the superintendent registrar or her deputy.
What kinds of citizenship ceremony do you offer?
Group citizenship ceremonies are held at Warrington town hall approximately once every six weeks and are usually attended by the Mayor of Warrington.
Alternatively, Warrington Register Office now offers private citizenship ceremonies in the ceremony room at the register office.
The ceremony room will hold up to 30 people, so please feel free to bring guests along to celebrate this occasion with you.
How much will a private ceremony cost?
The cost of a private ceremony at the Register Office is £43.50.
How do I arrange my group or private ceremony?
Please call the register office Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm, on 01925 442762 to arrange your ceremony.
