Cut your council tax

Warrington's benefit service is working hard to help local residents who are on a low income.

There is a rolling programme of benefit take up activities throughout 2010 and staff are happy to give help and advice.

Child benefit is no longer factored into calculations for council and housing tax benefits so you maybe entitled to more help than you think - get in touch today and find out more.

The team also hold regular drop in advice sessions at the council's contact centre on Horsemarket Street and can even visit your home if you can't make it into the town centre or don't have computer access and you want to know more.

If you think you may be entitled to help towards your rent or council tax please call 442336 during office hours or email revenues&benefits@warrington.gov.uk and the team will get back to you soon.
