Carer and Toddler Groups
Dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, childminders carers and babies as well as mums and toddlers are all welcome to join a ‘mums and tots’ group!
It is no longer 'the norm' for mum to be at home with the children whilst dad goes out to work so if you are a dad with a four month old baby, don’t feel excluded, just phone up or call in. You will both be made to feel very welcome.
Toddler groups are good for baby because…..
They offer the opportunity to play and make friends
They encourage children to try new experiences
They can experiment with new materials such as playdough and paint
They provide the building blocks for more formal learning later on
Toddler groups are good for parents and carers because….
They offer a great support network where members are able to share experiences
Practical help and advice can be offered and information shared
You can watch your child play and develop
Prices
Carer and Toddler groups usually charge a fee of about £1.00 per session.
