New kerbside recycling scheme

Starting from the end of September 2008 the council will introduce a new kerbside recycling scheme

This new service is a major change in the way your waste is collected and will enable you to recycle much more.

The new blue bin will be emptied every two weeks.

• A new larger blue bin (the same size as your black or green bin) will be delivered in the run-up to our launch at the end of September 
• Your old smaller blue bin with the words 'SULO' printed upon it will be removed during September or October
• Your collection day will be provided within an information pack that will be delivered with your new bin. It will also explain how this new service will be introduced to your area.

This new service will replace your current blue bin paper service.

14 August - Recycling stand, ASDA Westbrook (10.30am-4pm)

27 August - Recycling & information stand, GGH Celebration Day, Bewsey Park (11am-2pm)

29 August - Joint recycling/Benefits Bus event, outside Market Hall, town centre (10am-3pm)

13 September - Recycling stand, Padgate High School Fun Day (12noon-5pm)
