No! Whether you are 18 or 98 there are still plenty of things to study. There are courses to help you gain new skills and courses you can take just for fun.
Do I need qualifications in order to study further?
No, most courses do not require you to have any previous qualifications.

YES! There is a lot of evidence that learning is good for you. Most people enjoy learning new things. Learning helps people lead happier, longer and more fulfilled lives. Learning helps improve confidence and self worth. You will meet new people and enrich your social life.

What is Family Learning?
Warrington Borough Council has many Family Learning programmes that encourage parents, grandparents, and carers to see themselves as active and lifelong learners and to value their role in the education of their children.
There are a variety of Family Learning opportunities in schools and other community venues. These courses offer:
- Learning situations to meet individual needs
- Opportunities to exchange ideas and skills in the community
- New routes to learning for adults.
- Accredited courses in a comfortable and familiar local environment.

What is Adult Learners Week?
Adult learners week is a chance to celebrate the role that learning can play in transforming lives. It takes place each year in the middle of May. Adult Learners Week activities are organised by representatives from Warrington Borough Council, Warrington Collegiate Institute, Priestley College, Warrington Churches Consultative Forum, University of the Third Age and the Campaign for Learning.
Events are held throughout Warrington. Look out for more information in April and early May!
