Planning Portal

Warrington Borough Council works in liaison with the Planning Portal to provide comprehensive information about the planning process.  Through the Planning Portal website, it is now possible for you to do the following:

• Complete a planning application to this Authority using the Planning Portal application forms and submit online
• The step by step process will guide you through the application form and help you with the calculations, such as the fee required
• Fee can be paid online using debit/credit card
• Submit accompanying documentation (see below for restrictions on file types and size)
• Purchase site plan online

Information on Planning Portal online submission (file attachments)
When using the Planning Portal to make a planning application online, it is possible to attach supporting documentation. This must have a combined size of no more than 25mb, with no individual file being larger than 5mb.

Please do not submit .exe or zip files, as these cannot be processed via the Portal.
