There are some easy you can make that will see some of your energy bills come down. Our home energy efficiency pages can give you advice on help available through grants so you can improve your wall and loft insulation.
Community funding may be able to help you as an individual, or as a community group, to find money to help improve energy efficiency in your home or the local area. There are grants available for projects such as wind turbines and solar panels on community buildings as well as for homeowners who want to upgrade their boiler or improve insulation. Travel
Travelling short distances by car isn't really environmentally friendly. There are many more green travel options.
If you are able to make a change to how you travel, even for one day a week, you can make a real difference.

If your about to buy a new car advice is available to make sure you get the most fuel efficient vehicle. Act on CO2 has a tool to compare the fuel costs and CO2 emissions of new cars, meaning that you can find the most eco friendly car that suits your needs. You could save money on your fuel and your tax.
Walking and cycling are the best for the environment, they are also are great for your health. The government recommends we do moderate exercise for 30 minutes, five times a week. This can be a brisk walk.
