Free children's craft activities
We have some fantastic, free craft events for children to get involved in at the museum during the summer holidays, every Tuesday and Thursday between 28 July and 1 September:
Build a Bug (28 July), Fishing Game (30 July), Animal Amulets (4 Aug), Furry Bear and Anteater Badges (6 Aug), Animal Mix-up (11 Aug), Totem Poles (13 Aug), Dinosaur Models (18 Aug), Moth Mobiles (20 Aug), Aboriginal Animals (25 Aug), Animal Kites (27 Aug), Bendy Animals (1 Sept).
All the activities are from 10am-3pm and are suitable for 3-12 year olds. They are completely free and there's no need to book, but all children must be accompanied by an adult. Details correct at the time of publishing but we reserve the right to change or amend details
Admission to any part of the museum is completely free and there are 11 other galleries to explore, crammed with curiosities from all over the world. The museum is open Monday to Friday, 10am–4.30pm, Saturday 10am–4pm.
