Forums and Meetings

 

The Supporting People programme in Warrington hold a number of different meetings throughout the year involving service users, service providers and stakeholders. These include the following: -

Supporting People Commissioning Body

The Commissioning Body is a partnership of Warrington Borough Council, Warrington P.C.T. and Cheshire Probation. The Commissioning Body drives the strategy, commissioning services and monitoring the performance of teh programme, and delegates other business to the Core Startegy Group such as proposing policy, recommending service developments and receiving reports on service review outcomes from the Supporting People Team.

Supporting People Core Strategy Group

The Core Strategy Group is a partnership body with representation from local housing, social care, health and probation. The Commissioning Body overseas this group and delegates work for themto comlete. Warrington's Core Strategy Group also encourages wider membership with representatives from our Provider Forum, Warrington Drug Action Team and Warrington B.C. Community Services, Internal Audit, Finance and I.T Departments.

Supporting People Provider Forum

The Provider Forum is made up of representatives from most of the Support providers in Warrington. The chair and vice chair of this group are members of the Core Strategy Group.

Supporting People Service User Forum

Warrington us currently developing a service user group. We have held a number of Service User Open days, which have been successful with representation from most client groups. The team is currently working with an independant advocacy service called Changing Together to develop a Service User Group that will  have a representative on the Core Strategy Group.

Supporting People Inclusive Forum

The Inclusive Forum is a forum made up of representatives from Support providers, service users, voluntary groups and stakeholders. This group meets on every 6 months to discuss a wide range of topics relating to the Supporting People programme.
