Am I entitled to Subsidy?

If you are entitled to any of the following benefits you will automatically be entitled to Subsidy;

  • Housing Benefit
  • Council Tax Benefit
  • Income Support
  • Minimum Income Guarantee
  • Job Seekers Allowance

However if you are not eligible to claim any of the above mentioned benefits and you are not receiving Care provided or commissioned by Adult Social Services you are able to apply for a Fairer Charging Assessment. We will assess if you are entitled to any subsidy towards your income and outgoings. We will offer a Fairer Charging Assessment to people depending on the level of their weekly charge for support.

If you are not entitled to Supporting People Subsidy your Landlord or Service Provider will collect any charge due directly from you.
