Location: Sandy Lane Children’s Centre is a multi-agency site incorporating a number of community partners. It is situated next to St. Stephen’s Church.

Library provision:

The Isle of Books in a mini-library set within the Centre itself. Here families can enjoy rhyme-time, fun-time and storytelling sessions. In addition there are some closed sessions with nurseries and school reception classes.

Are you a Real Man? Real Men Read is a session each Wednesday from 11.45 – 12.15. Men and their children can share a story and have some fun. Light lunch is provided free and each month we welcome a celebrity Real Man.

Borrow a book by simply signing it out in the Isle of Books. There are no forms to fill in and it’s free. Just sign it in again when you bring it back.
