Computers for everyone in Warrington libraries
All libraries in Warrington have computer facilities that are available to use for free.
All our libraries have:
- Free access to the internet. Visit the internet services page.
- MS Office 2003 - Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Publisher.
- Both colour and black & white printing. There is a charge for printing.
- Supernova - screen magnifier and text to speech software.
- Access to online resources e.g. Encyclopedia Britannica, Ancestry. For more details see the online reference library page.
- Short courses to help you make the most of your computer.
The majority of libraries offer scanning facilities with the exception of Lymm, Great Sankey and Grappenhall.
Most libraries have USB ports for you to use your own memory stick or CD re-write facilities and some also have floppy drives.
All libraries have memory sticks for sale. Please ask staff for details.
