Grab paper and pencil and come along to our weekly open workshops. All are welcome!
Get Into Writing workshops are perfect for anyone who has an interest in writing, and wants to practice, learn and collaborate with like-minded people.
The workshops are a completely no pressure environment where you choose the speed that you want to work at.
Whether it is poetry, a short story or – dare I say it? – a novel that you have your sights set on, these workshops will support you and provide a valuable base for the progression, and above all enjoyment, of your writing.

An arts project for people aged 50+
Share your stories of Warrington, learn a new skill and socialise in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere working with professional artists.
A range of FREE arts courses are happening in Penketh:
Creative writing at Penketh Library
Over six weeks starting Friday 29 January 2010 10am - 12 noon, you will work with a tutor to create a book of stories inspired by your memories of Warrington.
Art at Penketh Library
Over 6 weeks starting Thursday 28 January 2010 10am - 12 noon, you will work with a local artist to create pieces of art inspired by your memories of Warrington.
