Access to Nature in Warrington

Introduction from Tony Parker, WNCF Chairman

One of the major problems with trying to get closer to nature is that you do not always know where to find it. I am therefore pleased that these pages have been produced so that more people can access our local sites, many of which are not well known.

I hope that the pages will encourage you to visit more sites and become more actively involved in the cause of nature conservation in Warrington.

For those of you who do not know a lot about wildlife, we have a large number of local enthusiasts who are very knowledgeable and can help you out. My experience has been that they are all very willing to share their knowledge, so do ask for their help if you see something you do not recognise. That is probably the way that they learned!

Learning more about wildlife certainly improves your enjoyment of it, so get out there and enjoy!
