Take the No. 19 bus from the bus stop 30m past the park entrance (on the same side of the road) to the Foresters Arms pub. Buses run every 30 minutes weekdays and every hour on Sundays. For bus information contact Warrington Transport on (01925) 444250. (1) At the Foresters Arms follow the track by the left of the pub towards Wards End Farm, turning right at the yellow footpath arrows then behind a green barn (2). As the track turns right you turn left. Follow the field edge next to the stream and through a small coppice (3). Carry straight on at the junction of a side path to join a track (4). Turn right following the track and footpath signs (5). At the second corner turn left over a stile and follow the field edge to a cross paths sign post (6). Turn left following the path over a bridge and past some farm buildings at the junction with the main farm track. Turn right past the farm house then left by a conifer hedge to cross the railway line (7), turn left, then after 30m turn right, following the hedge. 150m past the end of the hedge turn right across a field to a bridge (8) over the bridge turn right following the stream and white arrows marking this concessionary footpath through a woodland belt ignoring a stile on the left. After a mile you leave the wood-land belt, follow the field edge to meet the public footpath (yellow arrows) (9). Turn right over a stile and follow the path by a fence then a hedge. Follow the path crossing straight over two tracks and across a field to a wooden bridge, turn left and follow the path round the field edge to a track (10). Turn left following the track eventually by the farm to the road (11). Cross over and turn left following the pavement to join Twiss Green Lane past the Redrow Homes (12). Turn right at Common Lane, cross, then turn left down Broseley Avenue (13), at the corner of Broseley Avenue go over a stile following the footpath by the side of the golf course until the path leads through the woodland belt. Follow the path right at the corner of the golf course then left across a field to join the park (14). Turn left to return to the car park.
