Library Service Plans and Strategies
The Library Service has a long tradition in Warrington, being the first rate supported public library in England. In 2003, the service extended to become the Library, Museum and Archives Service. A great deal has been achieved by the Service and it is highly regarded by its users.
A vision for the future of the service is described in the 'Looking to the Future' document, which demonstrates a clear commitment to continued service excellence and development for 2005 and beyond. In this, areas for improvement, identified in the 2004 'Transforming Us' survey, are described.
