Library Catalogue

 

Welcome to the Enterprise Portal Solution (EPS) - the new way to access the library service online.

You can use EPS to see what material is held in Warrington Libraries, where to find it and whether it is currently on loan. From here you can search for books, CDs, DVDs, talking books and more.
You can also reserve the items you want and renew items you have out on loan.

My Library Account
To use the ‘My Library Account’ functions and to reserve library items online you will need to login to EPS.  To do this enter the number on your library ticket in the username box.  Please type the number in full with no spaces e.g. 24143001234567
The password is your library personal identification number (PIN). This is 4-digit number. 
If you do not yet have a PIN take your library card into any Warrington Library and the staff will be able to advise you.
For security reasons we are not able to give a PIN over the telephone, so please request in person, with your library ticket to hand.

Reserving online
Find the item you want to request and select the ‘Place a hold’ option.  If you are not already logged in you be asked for your library ID (ticket number) and PIN.
Select the library to want to collect the item from and click the ‘Hold’ button

Reservation charges  
There is no charge to reserve books or multimedia items that are held as part of Warrington Libraries stock.
You will be notified when your reservation is available.
You can track the progress of your reservations online.
It is not possible to reserve some areas of stock e.g. reference items or local studies stock.
You can only place reservations online for items that are in stock in Warrington Libraries.

If you can’t find a particular item please ask a member of staff on your next visit – we may be able to buy the title for you or borrow it from another library. If the item reserved has to be obtained from a library outside Warrington, the charge is £4.00 (£2.00 Concessions)
Please note:
You may not be able to reserve items online if your account is in debit.

Renewing items on loan online
Please remember – items will not be renewed if:

  • they are reserved by another user 
  • you have already renewed them 3 times 
  • the amount owing in your account is more than £10

If you renew items that are overdue or items with a re-hire charge e.g. DVDs, CDs the charges will be set against your account to be paid when you next visit a library. You may not be able to renew online again until you have cleared your account.

Please note; the catalogue is not available from 3 - 4.30 am to allow for essential maintenance.
