Christmas recycling gets the green light
A SPECIAL Christmas lights display has been created to remind people in Warrington about recycling during the festive season.
After opening their presents, residents can spread goodwill by taking their packaging and wrapping paper to one of three recycling centres between 4pm and 8pm every day except Christmas Day.
Stores such as WHSmith, Tesco, TK Maxx and Marks & Spencer also offer a Christmas card recycling service throughout January.
The lights, created by the council’s recycling team, can be found near Warrington bus interchange, at the bottom of Horsemarket Street.
