A classic car show!
They come in all shapes and sizes: big or small, loud or quiet, high or low maintenance and they’re all cars which many will remember fondly.
So take advantage of the exhibition of these casual classics supplied by the North West Casual Classics, to be displayed as Warrington Market takes a look at what cars used to be like.
The star of the show will be a Jaguar Formula one car, once driven by Eddie Irvine and Johnny Herbert. It is estimated to be worth over a million pounds! There will also be an Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire Mk 2, the only one of its kind in the world, incorporating the design double twin headlights. As well as the casual classics there will be a brand new Jaguar XF, the latest model from Jaguar.
A documentary film is to be made on the day, capturing the market show. It will feature none other than Mark Olly, a television presenter, famous for his work in the “Lost Treasures” series currently being shown on Granada every Sunday.
With the British Grand Prix taking place this weekend at Silverstone, the motor buzz is sure to be sweeping the country and Warrington is celebrating in style with this fantastic display of cars.
It is an opportunity to take a trip down memory lane as the classics pull up at the market on Saturday 5 July from 10am until 4pm.
