Council confirms no investment in Icelandic banks

Statement from the council:

Many residents will have heard reports this week about a number of councils across the UK that have accounts with Icelandic banks, which have now collapsed.

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure residents and confirm that Warrington Borough Council has no money invested in Icelandic banks.
