To try to ensure your parking experience is a positive one, the Parking Facilities Unit will:
- Provide safe, regularly patrolled town centre car parks
- Provide free parking for disabled people on council-owned car parks
- Provide free Sunday parking on council-owned car parks
- Provide larger convenient spaces for parents with babies, where possible
- Provide CCTV surveillance on the market multi storey car park
- Maintain the Secured Car Parks Award for the market multi storey car park
- Maintain the Customer Charters for the market multi storey car park.
You Can Help Us By
- Parking only in marked bays
- Displaying your Pay and Display ticket in a prominent position on your vehicle windscreen where applicable
- Leaving disabled person spaces and parent with baby spaces free for their use
- Taking your litter with you or putting it into litter bins provided
- Reporting vandalism, theft or damage
- Locking valuables away from sight
- Having small change for machines as applicable
