Annual Progress Report 2004
The Annual Progress Report 2004 provides an update on the excellent progress made over the past financial year, 2003/04 in delivering the LTP objectives in Warrington, including:
- Almost £7m of improvements on a wide range of projects aimed at improving conditions for all road users.
- Progress made towards implementing the new Warrington Town Centre Interchange.
- The provision of Real Time Passenger Information at bus stops across the borough.
- Structural Maintenance - in 2003/04 over £2.8m was spent on improving the condition of roads and bridges across the borough.
- Travel Plan Initiatives where major progress is being made with both Employee and School Travel Plans.
- Progress on A49 North Corridor improvements, following the successful bid in 2003 for additional funding.
