Children’s Services Directorate
The Strategic Director for Children’s Services in Warrington is Norma Cadwallader.
The Director is professionally accountable for the delivery of Warrington's education and social services functions for children in the borough. Norma provides leadership of the Children’s Services Directorate and focuses on the strategic planning of the Council’s overall service development. She also builds corporate and external partnerships as well as co-ordinating all Directorate activities.
The structure of the Children’s Services Directorate
Our Children’s Services are organised in four services:
- Children’s Social Care and Youth Service
- School Improvement and Inclusion
- Business Planning and Resources
- Community Support Services
Each of the teams working in these services has close links with colleagues in other teams within Children’s Services. Each service has its own Head of Service plan for 2007-2008. The plans describe the priorities for the year and how these will be achieved.
