Local Strategic Partnership (LSP)

 

The Children and Young People’s Trust will act as the thematic groups of the LSP with responsibility for strategic planning of those services for children and young people with which the LSP is concerned.  In this capacity, it will:

a) Monitor progress on the relevant parts of the Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS), Local Area Agreement (LAA) delivery plan and associated performance indicators

b) Provide the required information for the Performance Plus performance management system on a quarterly basis

c) Complete the reporting templates for the LSP delivery board, highlighting significant variation and poor performance on an exception basis.

The chair of the Children and Young People’s Trust board and two other members (confirmed annually) will be sent as representatives to the Warrington LSP board. 

The Children and Young People’s Trust co-ordinator will attend quarterly meetings with counterparts from the other thematic groups to facilitate communication and information sharing.

Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) - structure outline

Warrington Partnership works at a number of different levels.  Firstly, a level that lets strategic decisions be made.  Secondly, at a level that allows operational activity to take place that can ensure outcomes are achieved.  And finally at a level that allows communities to be engaged in the decisions made and actions carried out by partnership members.
