Father Christmas will be making a grand entrance to take up his weekend winter residence at Walton Hall.

Bring the children along from 6-9pm to see him make his entrance and switch on the lights. A magical experience for all the family.

On the 12th December we have our Christmas Craft event for Children. Fed up of glitter in your carpet, and paint on your walls? Well let us mop up the mess and let your little ones have fun creating Christmas themed crafts. The fun starts at 10am and goes through to 12md, and is again aimed at pre-school and primary school aged children. Its just £3 per child to complete up to 6 crafts from a selection. Refreshments are available whilst you put your feet up.

The Magic Of Motown is coming to Warrington!

Classic hits from the Temptations, Four Tops, Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie and The Supremes are packed into the two-hour spectacular. “As well as dazzling dance moves and glittering costumes galore,” says Michael. “the elusive, authentic sound is recreated by our incredible band.”

Come and capture the magic of Christmas past and meet Father Christmas in the heritage yard.

Our heritage yard will be transformed into a magical ‘Winter Wonderland’ where you can:
  • Meet Father Christmas in his magical grotto
  • Ride the Polar Express
  • Enjoy Traditional Festive Hot Food and Drink
  • Marvel at Children’s entertainer extraordinaire   - Juggling Jim Millar!
  • Decorate a yule log
  • Listen to live music
  • Paint Pottery Christmas Decorations
  • And much more….
Tickets for entry to Santa’s grotto are priced at £6 per child including gift. Adults and older children (and even the family dog!) are welcome to accompany younger children into Santa’s grotto free of charge.
Tickets are on sale on each day of the Winter Wonderland. Each ticket is numbered and entry to the grotto is based on number order but remember there’s lots to see and do while you wait! 

We’re open from 10:30 to 4pm* on Saturday and Sunday 12th & 13th and 19th & 20th December.

*Please note: we stop selling tickets at 4pm but will stay open until everyone who has a ticket has seen Father Christmas.

Please also note that charges apply to some individual activities and a pay and display car park is in operation.
