It’ll be over by Christmas

An exhibition exploring the history of World War One, including objects from the Museum’s collection, a timeline of the events and local people’s memories of the conflict.
Lantern Making Open Workshops
Date: 6th December 2014 - 7th December 2014
Location: Town Centre
Time: 11:00 - 15:00
These are free events for children to make lanterns for the parade on Thursday 11 Dec.
The workshops take place between 11am - 3pm in the Town Centre. More workshops will take place across the town – see the Culture Warrington website for details.
Christmas Carvery Sunday lunches
Date: 7th December 2014 - 14th December 2014
Location: Walton Hall and Gardens
Time: 12:00 - 16:00
If you fancy something more substantial, take a walk up to the hall itself and sample one of our famous Christmas carveries. Choose from One, two or three courses.
There’s a menu especially for the little ones too! Booking in advance is advisable.

Location: Queens Gardens, Palmyra Square
Time: 18:30 - 20:00
The Parade will start and end in Queen’s Gardens and lead you on a magical winter tour of the town centre.
Back at Queen’s Gardens, you’ll be able to take part in loads of festive activities, eat lots of lovely food and get a hot drink. There will also be live music, Christmas Carol singers and much more! To coincide with the panto at Parr Hall in January 2015, the theme of the parade this year will be ‘Snow White'.
We will be organising lots of Lantern making workshops at schools, libraries, community centres, the Museum and around the town centre. Workshops are free so watch this space for more details of when and where you can make a lantern.

Christmas Party Nights
