Hill Cliffe Hike

An autumn stroll taking in the varying landscapes of the Trans Pennine Trail, Hill Cliffe, Walton Gardens, the Bridgewater Canal and Moore Nature Reserve. Approx 8 miles, please bring a packed lunch.
St. Rocco's Children's Lantern Walk

The St. Rocco’s sponsored Lantern Walk will illuminate the night sky, during an evening filled with glowing lights and entertainment, all to raise valuable funds for your local Hospice.
Children of all ages and their families are invited to join us for an evening of twilight fun on this 1 mile walk. Registration is just £5 per child (0-16) with accompanying adults FREE! A lantern and finishing medal is included in registration, with additional lanterns and merchandise available to buy on the night. Children and big kids alike can take part in the walk and are invited to come in fancy dress if they wish! We would like to thank Livewire Warrington who are kindly sponsoring the Lantern Walk. We are kindly asking each walker to try to raise £25 (or more!) for their walk with every penny of sponsorship going towards patient care and support for families. Walkers will be given a glowing handheld lantern to create a sea of twinkling light, as participants make their way around the 1 mile route. This distinguished pianist is renowned for his depth and sensitivity. The first half of this concert will include various pieces by Frederic Chopin interspersed with readings from appropriate letters written by Chopin.
The second half features the tour de force Liszt Sonata in B minor.
