Children’s centre services can help you gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to return to work, and/or improve your skills. They will help you to get the right advice about training, employment and financial benefits and simply let you know what might be possible.

Children’s centres actively encourage volunteering because it is a great way to learn new skills, try different jobs to see if you like it, and do something rewarding at the same time.
You will receive:
- an induction and safeguarding children training
- support and guidance from centre staff
- access to accredited and non-accredited courses
- valuable experience in preparation for returning to work
