Warrington Borough Council’s targeted services department (previously children’s social care) provides services for our most vulnerable children and young people and their families and carers. It is divided into four service areas:
- Preventative and family support
- Children in need
- Children in care
- Quality assurance and safeguarding
They provide early intervention when families are on the verge of breakdown, care provision where appropriate for some children and young people, child protection and safeguarding for vulnerable children.
