The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is a multi-agency assessment of the health and wellbeing of the children, young people and adults of Warrington. It provides information on topics relating to health, social care, education and lifestyle and helps to identify where support is needed to improve outcomes.
The JSNA provides a common set of data for partners to access, analyse and base future commissioning decisions on.
The last JSNA for Warrington was developed in 2008. The documents below represent the core Joint Strategic Needs Assessment. If you are unsure which section the information you require is in, please check the annexes and index section.
An exercise is currently underway to refresh the JSNA and this will be published in early 2012.
Fully understanding the needs of children and young people in Warrington is an essential part of the commissioning cycle, it is important that the updated JSNA will capture feedback from service users and evidence about what works well, as well as the usual performance indicators and data.
