What apprenticeships does the council offer?

As the largest employer in Warrington, the council takes its responsibilities to develop young people very seriously.

The chief executive, members and officers fully endorse the apprenticeship plans, which exist in departments and continue to expand opportunities for young people to access employment with the council.

Subject to suitable vacancies arising apprenticeship positions potentially exist in all council services and cover a wide range of occupational areas:

NB. Some positions may not be permanent or may be fixed term employment.  Whilst these opportunities are a mixture of short and full time employment, our experience indicates that these provide valuable experiences of real work and provide a stepping stone into a successfull career with Warrington Borough Council.
