Ken Dodd

Late nights and tickling sticks; it simply wouldn't be Christmas without Mr Dodd – he's back!
Friday 9 December
The ghost spectacular
Venue: Warrington Museum, 5pm – 7pm
Dare you attend our ghostly spectacular? Join us for a night of spine-tingling ghost stories. Limited numbers, call 01925 442399 to book your free place. Age 12+.
Saturday 10 December
Vienna Festival Ballet presents The Nutcracker
Venue: Parr Hall, 2.30pm
The enchanting tale of The Nutcracker is one of the best-loved ballets and tells the charming tale of Clara and her nutcracker doll.
Christmas stress buster
Venue: Warrington Market, 10am - 4pm
Ease away those Christmas stresses and strains with advice and guidance from professional health practitioners.
Winter craft village
Venue: Bridge Street, 10am - 4pm
The Winter Craft Village is open Saturdays from from 19 November to 17 December.
Thursday 15 December
Lantern Parade
Venue: Queens Gardens, 6.45pm
Join in the enchanting lantern parade as it winds its way through Queens Gardens and Warrington's Town Centre. Check out the real life nativity, a break-dancing Santa and festive carols along the way.
Join us on the lantern making workshops, on Sat 3 and Sun 4 December at the arts and crafts market in the Old Fish Market, to create your very own lantern for the parade.

Friday 16 and Saturday 17 December
Warrington Male Voice Choir Christmas voices, Christmas brass concert
Venue: Parr Hall, 7.30pm
The combined Warrington and Highfield male choirs make a thrilling sound. Guest soloist is Irish international Classical Crossover soprano, Margaret Keys.
Friday 16 December
Houghton Weavers
Venue: Pyramid, 7.30pm
Britain's premier comedy/ folk band, the Houghton Weavers return with their first rate Christmas spectacular!
Saturday 17 December
Winter craft village (the last weekend!)
Venue: Bridge Street, 10am – 4pm
Last chance to visit the wonderland of Christmas cabins with locally created unique arts and crafts gifts (perfect for that special someone). From jewellery makers through to knitted delights and don't miss our very own mulled wine and hot chocolate hut.
Late shopping (until 9pm) at Golden Square begins from Thursday 17 November.

Town centre fun and activities
Genuine camels from afar, reindeer, Oom-pah bands and street entertainers will be providing a true festive setting across the town and throughout the weekend – with something for everyone, it's the place to be this festive season!
