All libraries in Warrington have computer facilities that are available for users to use for free.
All of our libraries have:
- Free access to the internet
- MS Office 2003 - Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Publisher
- Both colour and black and white printing, please note there is a small charge for printing
- Supernova - screen magnifier and text to speech software
- Access to online resources e.g. Encyclopaedia Britannica, FindMyPast and more
- Short courses to help you make the most of your computer – ask at your local library for more information.
All our libraries offer scanning facilities.
Most computers in our libraries have USB ports for you to use your own memory stick or CD re-write facilities, a small few still have floppy disk drives.
All libraries have memory sticks for sale. Please ask staff for details.
