Warrington’s public libraries are the first in the UK to launch a new iPhone app for book lovers after the council quickly snapped up the opportunity to offer it to local residents.
The app is free to download and lets users search Warrington Public Libraries catalogue and even log into their account to renew books and place items on hold.
The launch of the app in Warrington is part of the council’s plans to use digital technology to modernise local library services and make them more accessible.
