Orford Library is moving to the exciting Orford Park development behind the new Decathlon store on Winwick Road in May 2012. This library will close at 5pm on Tuesday 1 May. A limited service for book returns and pick-ups will be offered until 5pm on Friday 4 May. The new library will open on 18 May, with longer opening hours. Any books borrowed from Orford Library will be stamped with an extended loan period, and can be returned to any of the libraries
Location
From Orford Green, proceed along Poplars Avenue and cross over the roundabout past the parade of shops. Orford Library is immediately on the left hand side of the road after the shops.
Parking
Off road parking at the front of the library and along Poplars Avenue.
Access
The library is on ground level and has an access ramp to the front entrance with automatically opening doors. There is an accessible toilet in the entrance foyer and a hearing induction loop is available.

History
The library opened its doors to the community of Orford in October 1965.
