It's BIG and together we can make it happen!
There are some new exciting plans for Orford Library thanks to BIG (Big Lottery Fund). As part of their Community Libraries Programme we have received £1.3 million. This will enable us to relocate Orford Library from Poplars Avenue to within the Orford Park Community Sports Hub!
We have set up a Community Management Board and have been doing lots of public consultation so that local people have a real voice in developing the new library.
The new hub is due to open in spring 2012. Keep checking these pages to find out how our plans for the library are progressing.
