Volunteering in libraries

There are four main ways for you to offer your time to help deliver library services in the community to local people:

Read 2 Me Service
Provide support to people who cannot reach a library, or may be unable toVolunteering read due to an illness or disability, by reading to them in their homes.

Read to Relax Group Volunteer
Offer a helping hand at one of our weekly reading groups for people recovering from depression, anxiety or stress. These informal groups focus on socialising and enjoying a good story with a biscuit and a cup of tea.

Home Library Service
Choose and deliver books and audio books to people who cannot reach a library due to an illness or disability.

Computer Buddy
Would you like to share your IT skills? We need volunteers to help people feel confident with the basics of using a computer and learn how to get online.
