The press office sits within the corporate communications team and is the first point of contact for all journalists.  It handles all media enquiries regarding council operations, services and business (including schools). 

It also issues press releases and statements, organises media briefings, leads on reputation and crisis management and assists with awareness campaigns from across the organisation. 

Filming requests should, in the first instance, be directed to the press office as well.
