Bulky waste collections
All residents who live within the borough of Warrington can request a bulky waste collection.
The services which are provided include:
- white goods collection service (free of charge)
- e.g. fridges, freezers

- e.g. old beds, sofas, other furniture

- one free bulky waste collection (benefits claimants only, one per financial year)
Please note: collections are made Monday to Friday. Your area will have a specific collection day – call to find out when your items can be collected.

Charges
We charge for the collection of bulky household items:
- Up to three items = £20 (inc VAT)
- Extra items charged at £6.67 (inc VAT)
The exact cost of your collection will be confirmed to you before a collection date is arranged.
Residents on certain benefits may be entitled to one free collection of three items per year. Please call Contact Warrington.
What happens to the bulky items you collect?
The collections are undertaken by a social enterprise called Bulky Bob's in partnership with Warrington Borough Council. They reuse and recycle items to help reduce waste to landfill. Any items that can be reused are sold to low income families in the north west.
