Citizens Advice Bureau
The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free information and advice from over 3,200 locations and by influencing policymakers.
The Citizens Advice service aims:
- To provide the advice people need for the problems they face
- To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives
The service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination.
All Citizens Advice Bureaux across England, Wales and Northern Ireland are independent registered charities. They are all members of Citizens Advice, the membership organisation - also an independent registered charity - that provides training and support to member bureaux, and coordinates national policy work. Together they make up the Citizens Advice service.
