Employment Land Review 2010 - Download the reviews and appendices
The Warrington Employment Land Review forms part of the evidence base of the council's Local Planning Framework. Warrington has previously monitored its employment land position through its annual Employment Land Report which is published annually. The Employment Land Review is now a standard requirement in the preparation of Development Plans and enables employment land uses to be balanced against alternative needs.

This report sets out Warrington borough’s Position Statement regarding the take-up and supply of land for employment development within the borough as at 1 April 2011.
The main purpose of this Employment Land Report is to inform and monitor the employment land policies as contained in the Warrington Unitary Development Plan adopted in January 2006 and forms part of the council’s evidence base for its Local Planning Framework.

Published Local Economic Assessment (LEA) - March 2011 - Download the documents
Warrington’s Local Economic Assessment has now been published following public consultation and approval at the council’s Executive Board on 14 March 2011.
The assessment comprises an Executive Summary and a detailed ‘Story of Place’, supported by a comprehensive statistical annex.
The documents are a factual assessment of the economic conditions of an area which will be used to inform the future strategies and policies of the local authority. All county councils and unitary councils are required to prepare such an assessment under the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction (LDEC) Act (2009).
