Neighbourhood Wardens

 

What is a neighbourhood warden?

  • A friendly face in your community
  • Patrol the Stronger Together areas on foot
  • Carry out safety activities with schools, community groups and partners
  • Report incidents of damage, vandalism, graffiti, fly tipping, abandoned vehicles, etc
  • Support residents and their community activities
  • They do not have any enforcement powers, but will challange activity such as littering and dog fouling
  • They do not tackle aggressive or violent behaviour, but will challenge groups that are seen as anti-social
