Coronavirus community support and volunteering
We are working with Warrington Voluntary Action (WVA) to support our communities to help look after our most vulnerable residents during the COVID-19 outbreak.
For people who are currently self-isolating, and those who are able to volunteer their time to offer support, we are on hand to offer guidance.
Want to volunteer?
Groups and volunteers can get in touch to ensure there is a coordinated response across the borough. It is important that any volunteers or groups follow the national guidance so that they can volunteer safely and reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

Let us know if you have volunteers, if you need volunteers, and to share what you are already doing. Please also let us know if you are willing for us to signpost additional local volunteers to you.

If you are volunteering or plan to volunteer
We have two flyers you can print off and distribute in your community.
Guidance for volunteers
You can share the 'Guidance for volunteers in the community' flyer with volunteers in your community groups. It gives you information on Do's and Don'ts of volunteering.
Guidance for self-isolation
Download and post the 'Guidance for those who are self-isolating and need support' flyer in you local community so those who may be vulnerable/self-isolating can know how to contact us.
