Restrictions in Warrington

Warrington, Halton and Merseyside are currently subject to additional restrictions from Tuesday 22 September. These include:

  • No visiting other households or private gardens
  • Table service only in hospitality settings
  • Hospitality, leisure and entertainment venues will close between 10pm to 5am

Additional control measures

In addition to these local restrictions, the guidance has been updated to:

  • Use of public transport for essential purposes only
  • No spectators at amateur/semi-professional sport
  • Allow only 15 people to attend weddings from Monday 28 September
  • Workers who can work from home, should do so
