Exam Board: City & Guilds

By the end of the course you will:

  • Know how to deliver good customer service to different types of customers
  • Know organisational customer service policies and procedures
  • Understand the benefits to an organisation of having a good reputation
  • Understand the qualities and attributes required in the customer service role
  • Understand importance of responding effectively to customers’ needs, expectations and complaints
  • Understand the importance of different methods of communication used to deal with different types of customers

Other details: The course will be delivered to include; group activities and independent learning. You will receive support and guidance from your tutor throughout and the course will be assessed by an externally marked test. 

You could follow up this course by doing the following:

  • Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Service
  • Gain employment in a Customer Facing role
