The Governing Body wish to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Headteacher who is fully committed to securing the best possible outcomes for all pupils and to the continual development and growth of our very successful school. The Deputy Headteacher will work alongside the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to embed our ethos, vision, mission statement and values throughout the school and to secure excellence in teaching and learning in all areas of the curriculum.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • High expectations of pupils’ academic standards, behaviour, conduct and attendance
  • Good curriculum knowledge to develop teaching and learning throughout the school
  • Experience of leading continuing professional development
  • A commitment to maintaining exemplary safeguarding practice and promoting a culture of celebration, personal development and active lifestyles
  • A proven track record of outstanding teaching and classroom practice
