Link Club Play Worker (Up to 22.5 hours p.w. Term time & Inset days)

The Governing Body would like to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Link Club Play Worker to help in the new extended services club(s) at Stockton Heath Primary School. Duties will be varied and will involve running play activities; organising/preparing breakfasts/snacks; administering first aid; working closely with other school staff; cleaning duties and some administrative tasks.  You must enjoy working with primary age children, be self-motivated and possess the ability to provide creative play activities in a safe, caring environment.  Recent experience of working with children is required as is a willingness to undertake training related to the role. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to develop effective relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community and must be highly motivated and committed to providing the highest level of service.

This is a part time post and will be offered with a probationary period of one term. 

The post is open to applicants who can provide either morning or afternoon cover, or both, and therefore there may be more than one appointment made. You must be flexible and be able to fill in for staff absence from time to time.

The successful applicant(s) will be working term time plus inset days only for up to five mornings and/or five afternoons each week: morning hours will be 07:30 to 09:00am; afternoon hours will be 3pm to 6pm.
