The Governing Body wish to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Foundation Stage Manager who is fully committed to securing the best possible outcomes for pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage and to the continual development and growth of this part of the school. The EYFS Manager will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to embed our ethos, vision, mission statement and values, to secure excellence in teaching and learning and to develop effective transition practices both within the school and with the wider community. The EYFS Manager will support the Headteacher and other senior leaders in the strategic development and leadership of the school as a whole.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
 A proven track record of outstanding teaching and classroom practice in EYFS
 Excellent EYFS and KS1 curriculum knowledge to develop and enhance teaching and learning
 Strong leadership and management skills
 High expectations of pupils’ academic standards, behaviour, conduct and attendance
 Experience of leading colleagues’ continuing professional development
 A commitment to maintaining exemplary safeguarding practice and promoting a culture of celebration, personal development and active lifestyles
