This team manager post is a key role in supporting some of our most vulnerable children and young people and forms part of our management team within Early Help, SEND and Education.
As the team manager you will play a key role in effectively managing referrals into the service, contribute to the development of our new approach to social work based on systemic practice and lead and develop the grow the children with disabilities team, working alongside our colleagues in children’s social care. You will also have management oversight of our small children’s occupational therapy team for a limited period of time.
We are looking for a confident and ambitious manager who ideally has experience of working with children, young people and their families with disabilities, who feels confident in making decisions to safeguard and protect children, and who is are passionate about supporting and developing staff. We recently underwent our SEND inspection and the feedback in our letter from Ofsted demonstrated our commitment to meeting the needs of our children and young people and hopefully you want to be part of our services.
