Network Warrington is proud to operate the majority of bus services in the town of Warrington with an operational fleet of around 100 buses and a history of carrying 8 million plus passengers per year. We are a progressive Local Authority owned Bus Company with an annual turnover of £10m and a workforce of 235 employees who are committed to providing the best possible transport service for everyone who lives, visits and does business in Warrington.
We are looking for a Managing Director who has the strategic vision to develop the business and take the Company forward in these challenging times. Working with the Board, you will have the ability and charisma to engage and lead the Company bringing to bear your operational experience and business acumen to drive forward changes and improvements. You will have strong commercial skills and the personal attributes that will allow you to successfully engage with Strategic Partners in the Town and to develop a plan that will ensure the Company fully contributes to its place in delivering the wider vision for the development of Warrington.
You will be a true leader that understands the value to an organisation of workforce engagement and will use your skills to effectively embrace and motivate all staff towards the achievement of the Company’s aims and objectives.
