The successful applicant will be joining a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the pro-active management of the Council’s property portfolio. This includes the provision of an effective acquisitions, disposals and valuation service, with activity aimed at ensuring the efficient management, use and occupation of the estate.

Your experience and knowledge will be called upon across the Council to provide expert advice in all property related matters. You will also assist in the development of policy, strategy and asset management plans, as well as working on a number of major regeneration schemes, including the ongoing redevelopment of the Town Centre.

The ideal candidate will be RICS qualified, preferably with experience in commercial or public sector property management and valuation. You will have an excellent eye for detail with strong communication and IT skills. A flexible way to working, forward thinking attitude and determination are key qualities we are seeking.
