Applications are invited for an exciting opportunity to join Chaigeley School staff team in a children’s home environment that is driven towards excellence and positives outcomes for children.  We are looking for a Residential Support Worker with experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and able to support pupils and their families in a children home environment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and NVQ 3 qualified (or working towards the qualification) Residential Support Worker who is:

· Committed to making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children

· Willing to contribute to the future development of the children homes.

· Willing to work as part of a team to support children who are not able, for a variety of reasons to live at home, and to assist and support these children in the long term.

· Ability to develop self-awareness and therapeutic approaches in their practices.

Chaigeley is currently registering for a 52-week children’s home provision with a non-maintained day special school for boys and girls on site with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH).
